        How does it work?

        When the Sensors move in a uniform straight line along the measured surface under the driving mechanism, the stylus perpendicular to the working surface generates a vertical displacement with the microscopic unevenness of the working surface, and then converts the displacement change into the change of electricity through the Sensors. The electrical signal is amplified, filtered, converted into a digital signal by A/D, and then processed by DSP to calculate the values of Ra, Rz, Rq, and Rt and display them.
