American RDS No. 5 wire rod coater (also called coating rod, scraping rod) can be used in the laboratory to prepare precise film layers. The No. 5 scraping rod is made of high-grade stainless steel. According to different processes, RDS provides No. 5 forming coating rod, No. 5 wire wrap rod and wire wrap bar coaters are also available in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch diameters. Theoretically, wet film coatings prepared with different diameters have the same wet film thickness, but the difference is that the coating amount used will be different due to the groove shape and the diameter of the main rod. The domestic mainstream is to use 3/8 diameter, while in Taiwan and Singapore, more 1/4 diameter wire rod coaters are used.
