Introduction to VF2020 viscosity cup
The TQC VF2020 viscosity cup is a viscosity cup with a filter tip diameter of 4mm, also known as the No. 4 viscosity cup. It is produced and designed according to the DIN 53211 standard. It is an aluminum viscosity cup with a filter tip holder. The filter tip can be freely replaced with other aperture. The cup body of the VF2020 viscosity cup is made of titanium anodized aluminum, and the cup spout holder and cup spout are made of stainless steel, which has good wear resistance. The VF2020 viscosity cup is used to measure the viscosity of paints, varnishes and other liquids.
The special aluminum viscosity cup is equipped with a stainless steel filter positioner, which can replace stainless steel filters with apertures of 1mm-8mm. Stainless steel filters must be ordered separately. The internal dimensions of the replaceable filter viscosity cups are similar to those specified in DIN53211.
TQC viscosity cup DIN 53211 can be used with a bracket. It is a special viscosity cup for laboratories. The bracket needs to be purchased separately .
Note: The filter tip of the VF2020 viscosity cup needs to be purchased separately.

Instructions
According to the standard, the temperature of the liquid to be tested is 25 degrees Celsius, and the temperature fluctuation needs to be minimal during the test and cannot exceed +/-0.2 degrees Celsius.
Adjust the temperature of the liquid to be measured if necessary.
According to the specification table and the expected viscosity range of the liquid to be measured, select a viscosity cup with an appropriate aperture (select the VF2020 viscosity cup ).
Adjust the viscosity cup so that it is in a horizontal position (viscosity cup holder and bubble level indicator are recommended). Then cover the outflow hole and put the liquid to be tested
Inject the VF2020 viscosity cup so that the curved surface of the liquid is above the edge of the cup.
Use a glass suction plate to move the liquid curved surface into the overflow ring and close the viscosity cup.
The distance between the outflow hole of the viscosity cup and the liquid level of the recovered sample needs to be greater than 100 mm. Open the covered outflow hole and remove the glass extractor. Timing time from

Maintenance measures
It is especially important to clean the outflow hole to remove residue and avoid scratching its inner surface.
Although the viscosity cup is designed to be sturdy, it is a precision instrument and must not be dropped or hit.
Need to be cleaned after use.
Please use a soft cloth to clean the VF2020 viscosity cup . Do not use wire brushes or sandpaper. Because this will cause damage similar to that caused by corrosive cleaning agents
Long-lasting damage.
Never hit the spout directly when removing it. Please use the pin provided with the viscosity cup to hold the cup mouth, and then tap it with a heavy object (such as a paper weight).
Before installing the cup spout, make sure the cup spout and VF2020 viscosity cup are clean.
When not in use, please return the viscosity cup to the box.
We recommend annual calibration.
