Button operation instructions
1. Turn on/off
When the YEH-400 air quality detector is turned off, press the ON/OFF button and it will turn on after about 1 minute; press it again to turn it off.
2. Adjust the screen background light
At night or when there is insufficient light, tap the LIGHT button to turn on the screen backlight; tap it again to turn off the backlight.
3.Adjust the sound alarm
When the pollution index exceeds the pollution alert 200, the YEH-400 air quality detector will sound an alarm. If you need to turn off the alarm at this time, please press the ALARM button next to the YEH-400 air quality detector ; press it again to turn the sound alarm back on.
4. Maximum and minimum values
Start recording the maximum and minimum gas concentration 1 minute after turning on the machine. Press the MODE button and the LCD will display MAX (at this time you can see the recorded maximum value); press the MODE button again and the LCD will display MIN (at this time You can see the minimum recorded value); press the MODE key again to exit the maximum and minimum values.
5. Clear the maximum and minimum values
Press and hold the ALARM button, and then release it. The LCD of the air quality detector will display MAX and MIN. At the same time, there will be a "beep" prompt, indicating that the previously recorded maximum and minimum values ââhave been cleared and the maximum and minimum values ââwill be recorded from the current time.
6. Time adjustment
Press and hold the MODE key and the year starts to flash, indicating that it has entered the year adjustment state. At this time, press LIGHT/ALARM to increase or decrease the year; press the MODE key again and the month starts to flash, indicating that it has entered the month adjustment state. At this time, press LIGHT/ALARM to increase or decrease the year. Decrease the month; press the MODE button again and the time will start flashing, indicating that it has entered the time adjustment state. At this time, press LIGHT/ALARM to increase or decrease the time; press MODE again until the time no longer flashes, indicating that the time setting has been exited.
7.Charging
Insert the data cable into the USB interface at the bottom of the side of the YEH-400 air quality detector , turn on the power, and then it can be charged; after the power is turned on, if it is turned on, the LCD battery box will display charging. It will not be displayed if it is not turned on.

First time use instructions
1. When you get the YEH-400 air quality detector for the first time, after opening the package, plug it in and charge it.
2. Place the YEH-400 air quality detector in a place with good air circulation, turn it on, and leave it for ventilation for more than 12 hours. The YEH-400 air quality detector remains on during the entire process . If the power of the detector is low, you can ventilate it while charging. It is recommended to place the YEH-400 air quality detector on windowsills, balconies and other places with good air circulation. If the outdoor temperature is lower than 0â, do not leave it outdoors for a long time, just place it on the windowsill indoors.
3. After more than 12 hours of ventilation, calibrate the air quality detector in situ. Press and hold the light and alarm buttons at the same time for 2 seconds, and then let go after the screen displays backlight. At this time, the calibration is completed.
4. After the calibration is completed, the formaldehyde level is displayed at around 0.02, indicating that the calibration is successful.
Instructions for use of the detection process
1. The YEH-400 air quality detector requires 5 minutes of warm-up time after it is turned on and restarted. Measurement can be performed after the warm-up is completed.
2. Place the YEH-400 air quality detector in the environment to be tested. The data can be read only after the data is stable, and the measurement is completed.
3. Before testing the room for formaldehyde, seal the room for a period of time before testing for better results.
4. When testing the formaldehyde content in a room, test multiple points in the room and calculate the average of the multi-point detection results, which is the average pollution content in the air in the room.
(Note: During the detection process, please try to avoid the interference of alcohol gases. For example, cigarettes, alcohol, perfume, cosmetics, oil smoke and other related gas-containing products, so as not to interfere with the formaldehyde detection results of the YEH-400 air quality detector . )
5. When detecting PM2.5, the YEH-400 air quality detector needs to be placed stably, and the results can be read after 5 to 10 seconds.
Formaldehyde Calibration Instructions
1) Place the YEH-400 air quality detector in a place with good air (such as outdoors, balcony, window), and turn it on for ventilation for more than 15 minutes;
2) Press and hold the light and alarm buttons at the same time for 2 to 3 seconds, and then let go after the screen turns blue. The formaldehyde will stabilize at around 0.02mg/m3, that is, the calibration is completed (that is, when the outdoor ventilation is good, the formaldehyde display Around 0.02mg/m3 indicates successful calibration)
Note: During normal use, frequent calibration is not recommended. Just calibrate once a week or so.
Precautions for use
1. Multi-point detection. The air composition in the space is not necessarily uniform. For example, the pollution content will be different in each corner of the room. Users can better perform multi-point sampling detection during the detection process, and count the final average value as a reference.
2. Avoid interference. During the detection process, please try to avoid interference from alcohol gases, such as cigarettes, alcohol, perfume, cosmetics, skin care products (hand oil) and other products, to avoid measurement errors. Before testing, ventilation methods can be used to eliminate interference. In addition, be sure not to blow the YEH-400 air quality detector with your mouth , as it will affect the life of the electrochemical sensor.
3. Low temperature detection. In an environment where the temperature is below 0℃, the sensitivity of the air quality detector sensor will decrease, so do not leave the air quality detector in an ultra-low temperature environment for a long time (more than 30 minutes).
4. Ensure stable air flow. Gas molecules in space have been undergoing irregular Brownian motion, and the gas distribution is easily affected by gas interference. Before testing, try to keep the air flow stable to avoid the air flow affecting the distribution of formaldehyde and thus interfering with the measurement.
5. Not used for a long time. If the YEH-400 air quality detector is not used for a long time, if it is used again, you must go through the initial operation steps again (see the first-time use instructions above) before using it normally.
6. The concentration is too high. Do not leave the YEH-400 air quality detector in a place where the concentration is too high for a long time, as it will affect the life of the electrochemical sensor.
Care and maintenance measures
1) Do not place the YEH-400 air quality detector in an environment that exceeds the normal temperature and humidity to avoid affecting the accuracy of the measurement.
2) Do not disassemble the internal device and casing.
3) When cleaning, do not use a wet cloth, just wipe the surface of the case with a dry cloth.
4) Do not subject the detector to strong impact or vibration.
5) Do not store the YEH-400 air quality detector in a sealed container for a long time.
6) Do not use the air quality detector in an environment with large amounts of oil smoke, as it will affect the service life of the detector.
7) Do not place the YEH-400 air quality detector in water.
