Commonly, when users choose hiding power paper, they will choose varnish on the surface, which can prevent paint ink from penetrating into the cardboard. Leneta varnish covering power paper has good penetration resistance. However, for carton and other related industries, according to the characteristics of the product when carrying out the hiding power test, the covering power paper without varnish is generally selected. This U.S. Leneta Form N2A-2 uncoated varnish cardboard is black on the top and white on the bottom with opacity paper, without varnish on the surface, suitable for carton and other industrial applications.

Hiding Power Measurement
The basic considerations for the sales of black and white grid paper using architectural coatings are hiding power and output, that is, how many coats are required for a complete coating film?
How many buckets of paint are needed?
Hiding power is a measure of hiding power.
Hiding power (%) = Y black/Y white *100 (%)
100% is complete coverage, that is, there is no difference after coating between the black and white areas of the black and white cardboard.
Steps for usage
1. Apply the paint evenly on the hiding power paper according to the film coating steps.
2. After the coating film is fully dried by air, use an instrument for objective evaluation.
3. The hiding power value can be measured within 1 second and displayed automatically.
The hiding power test paper is not limited to the measurement of the hiding power of the paint, and the corresponding hiding power test method can also be applied to the hiding rate detection of transparent films and plastic products.
Opacity Coating Rating
1. Match the coated stripes with the grooves on the anti-sagging device one by one.
2. Ignore the leading and trailing edges and just look at the center 150 mm (5-1/2 inches) of the stripe, which corresponds to the black area of the Form 7B.
3. The lowest (thickest) stripe that does not touch the lower stripe is used as the marking stripe, and the corresponding number of grooves is the anti-sagging index of the paint.
4. To get a more accurate anti-sagging index, it is necessary to add the number of grooves to the increment between the gaps and the value of the non-integration coefficient (it blends into the coefficient of the stripe below).
The non-integration coefficient can be estimated according to the following table:

B.涂料的预备

C.涂漆
