This standard specifies the terms and definitions (or descriptions) of resins for paints and varnishes. This standard applies to the production, application, scientific research, teaching, publication and compilation of coatings and pigments, etc. It can also be used in domestic and foreign technical business interactions.

This standard is formulated with reference to the draft international standard ISO/DIS4618/3.2 "Paints and Varnishes - Vocabulary - Part 3: Resin Terminology" and relevant standards of other countries.

Each entry in this standard includes the term, the corresponding English name and its definition (or description), and is given an index number. Synonymous terms are listed after the terms as the same entry, with the first word taking priority. A term used, followed by a permitted term. Below the term is the corresponding English name, followed by the definition (or description) of the term. If there are terms that are no longer used, they are listed after the definition (or description).

Preferred and permitted terms are in boldface, and terms that are no longer in use are in non-boldface.

Bold words in parentheses indicate that they can be omitted, and bold words in square brackets indicate that the previous words or phrases can be replaced.

The numbering of this terminology continues from GB5206.1-85 "Paints and Varnishes Vocabulary Part 1 General Terms".

It is a natural resin obtained by dehydrating the milky white or milky yellow thick liquid that flows out from the cut skin of Rhus vemiciflua.

Mainly refers to the viscous synthetic resin produced by the condensation of m-xylene and formaldehyde.

34. Phenolic resin

A type of synthetic resin produced by the condensation polymerization of aldehydes with phenol and phenol homologues and derivatives or by the condensation of aldehydes with phenol and phenol homologues or derivatives.

35. Pure phenolic resin; 100% phenolic resin

Oil-soluble phenolic resin is produced by the condensation polymerization of aldehydes with certain para- or ortho-position aryl groups or alkyl substituted phenols with three or more carbon atoms.

39. Rosin modified phenolic resin

Oil-soluble phenolic resin is a product of the reaction between aldehyde and phenol, phenol derivatives or homologues in the presence of an alkaline catalyst, and is obtained by reacting rosin with glycerol.

40.Butanol etherified phenolic resin

Thermosetting phenolic resin is a thermosetting phenolic resin prepared from the condensation product of aldehydes and phenol, phenol derivatives or homologues in the presence of an alkaline catalyst, and etherified in a butanol medium under an acidic catalyst. The resin's solubility in the agent and miscibility with other resins have been improved.

由三聚氰胺与甲醛缩聚,并经醇类醚化制得的氨基树脂氰

50.脉(甲)醛树脂

由尿素与甲醛缩聚,并经醇类醚化制得的氨基树脂。

51.烃基三聚氰胺(甲醛)树脂

hydrocarbon-based melamine(fornial-clehyde) resin

三聚钮胺上的一个氨基或氨基上的一个氢原子被其他有机基团(芳香烃或脂肪烃)所取代的化合物与甲醛缩聚,并经薛类醚化制得的氨基树脂。

54.纤维素酯

纤维素分子中的部分羚基被酸酯化制得的一类热塑性高分子化合物。

55.纤维素醚

cellulose ether

纤维素分子的部分经基被醇醚化制得的一类热塑性高分子化合物。

56.硝酸纤维素(酯)

cellulose nitrate;nitrocellulose

由硝酸和硫酸的混合物与纤维素醋化反应制得的纤维素醋。

注:涂料工业用硝酸纤维素含氮量通常为11.5%一12.2%,

57.乙〔醋〕酸纤维素栖酯)

由乙酸和乙酸fF的混合物与纤维素乙酞化制得的纤维素酯。

注:涂料工业用醋酸纤维素含乙酞基量通常为38.5%-39.5%。

由节基氯与碱纤维素醚化制得的纤维素醚。

注涂料工业用节基纤维素的爷基取代度通常为2-2.5。

62.乙烯树脂

由含有乙烯基的单体聚合或共聚制得的一类热塑性合成树脂。

63.聚氯乙烯

polyvinyl chloride

由氯乙烯单体聚合制得的热塑性合成树脂。

64.过氯乙烯树脂

由聚氯乙烯经氯化制得的热塑性合成树脂。

注:涂料工业用过抓乙烯树脂含抓量通常为61%-65%。

65.苯乙烯树脂

由苯乙烯单体聚合或与其他单体共聚制得的一类合成树脂。

由乙烯单体聚合制得的热塑性合成树脂。

67.氯化聚乙烯

chlorinated polyethylene

由聚乙烯经氯化制得的热塑性合成树脂。

68.聚乙〔醋〕酸乙烯(醋)

polyvinyl acetate

由乙酸乙烯(A旨)单体聚合制得的热塑性合成树脂。

69.聚乙烯醇

polyvinyl alcohol

由聚乙酸乙烯的醇溶液用碱水解制得的热塑性合成树脂。

70.聚乙烯醇缩醛;聚乙烯醇缩乙醛

polyvinyl acetal(s)

(1)由聚乙烯醇与醛类缩合制得的一类热塑性合成树脂。

('L)一般指聚乙烯醇与乙醛缩合制得的聚乙烯醇缩醛。

71.聚乙烯醇缩甲醛

72.聚乙烯醇缩丁醛

由丙烯单体聚合制得的热塑性合成树脂。

75.聚二乙烯乙炔

由二乙烯乙炔在氛苯中聚合制得的合成树脂。

76.氯(乙烯)醋(酸乙烯醋)树脂

由氯乙烯与乙酸乙烯(醋)共聚制得的合成树脂。

77.氯(乙烯)偏(氯乙烯)树脂

79.丙烯酸醋树脂
