Application of Glossmeter in inks printing detection

Meaning of measurement

Gloss measurement of ink printing is to evaluate the visual effect and quality of printed matter, which includes parameters such as reflectivity, gloss and color saturation. These parameters have an important impact on the appearance, visual experience and quality of printed matter.

For example, in terms of the visual effect of printed matter, high-gloss printed matter looks smoother, clearer, brighter, and has better visual effects, which can attract consumers' attention and improve the brand image and awareness of the product. High-quality ink printing requires high-quality ink and paper, as well as good printing equipment and technology.

application

Detection and control of the surface gloss of printed matter in the production process of ink printing industry;

Evaluation and classification of print surface gloss during ink print quality inspection.

Measurement steps

Preparation: Place the printed matter to be tested on a flat test table, and ensure that the surface is clean and free of impurities, so as not to affect the test results;

Adjustment instrument: adjust according to the instruction manual of the gloss meter to ensure that the instrument meets the test requirements. Generally, zero point calibration and reference plate calibration are required;

Measurement: Place the test head of the gloss meter on the surface of the printed matter, and start the instrument for measurement. Generally, multiple tests are required to take the average value to avoid errors;

Record the results: record the measurement results, evaluate and classify according to the relevant standards of the printing ink industry.

North and South Chao reminds you: the gloss meter needs to avoid the influence of direct sunlight, dust interference and other interference factors during the measurement process to ensure the accuracy of the test results. At the same time, there may be some differences in the test results of printed matter of different colors and materials, which need to be evaluated and analyzed according to the actual situation
