There are two main methods suitable for on-site detection of adhesion, the X method or cross-cut method with a tool, and the pull-off method. These two methods are not only suitable for use in the laboratory, but also more suitable for application in the construction site. The main application standards are shown in Table 7-11. When testing the adhesion of anti-corrosion coatings, if the test results of the scratch-X method and cross-hatch method are not satisfactory, the pull-off method can be used as the main reference method.
