The coating film performance test items of powder coatings are basically the same as the coating performance test items, mainly gloss, adhesion, hardness, flexibility, impact resistance, cupping test, abrasion resistance, coating porosity, coating water resistance, etc. . The sample used in the test should meet certain regulations.
1. Preparation of test panels The materials and dimensions of each test panel are specified as follows:
Type A1: cold-rolled steel plate, the size is 1mmx150mmX200mm;
Type A2: cold-rolled steel plate, the size is 1rnm><50mmX120n,m;
Type A3: cold-rolled steel plate , the size is 1mmX75mmx75mm;
A4 type: tin plate, the size is 0.2mmX50mmX100mm;
A5 type: steel plate, the size is l1190mmX2mm, with f8mm hole in the center;
Type B3: steel, the size is 10mmx10mmx]50mm, ground into a square, the size is accurate to 0.020mm.
The steel should meet the requirements of GB700-79 "Technical Conditions for Ordinary Carbon Steel". The sample quantity and coating film thickness of the test items are listed in Table 6-2, and the items with special requirements for the samples will be explained separately in this item.
It is recommended to use the electrostatic coating process to prepare the sample, and the film formation of the sample must meet the curing conditions of the product.
