This paper summarizes the present situation of corrosion and aging performance research of anticorrosion coatings. Several laboratory accelerated salt spray test methods and their correlation with outdoor atmospheric corrosion are listed. It is suggested that the laboratory accelerated test adopts the corrosion + aging combined test method. At the same time, the outdoor atmospheric corrosion comparative test is carried out. Find out the laboratory corrosion + aging accelerated test method with good correlation. Anti-corrosion coatings are widely used in emerging marine engineering, modern transportation, energy industry, large industrial enterprises and municipal facilities. Its corrosion and aging properties are getting more and more attention. The quality of the anti-corrosion performance of the coating directly affects the service life and safety of the project.
