Thermal performance inspection of coating

The thermal properties of the coating include the heat resistance, thermal life, thermal insulation and thermal shock resistance of the coating. The main ones are heat resistance and thermal insulation, which are two different properties. Their mechanism and testing methods are both Related but not the same.

1. Inspection of coating heat resistance

(1) Spray the required inspection on a steel plate with a thickness of 1mm, the coating thickness is 0.2-0.4mm, and then heat the steel plate of the legal layer with an oxygen-nitrogen rapid flame, and measure the time required for burning the legal layer and the steel plate , and use it to evaluate and compare the heat resistance of the coating. This test is actually the melting point and cooked life of the layer material to measure the heat resistance of the coating.

(2) In addition to the above method, the heat resistance of the coating can also be evaluated through the trial design of the coating against high temperature air. First, the anti-oxidation performance of the coating itself can be measured, and the 1 l and ll most separated from the base material The removed layer is used as the sample, after cleaning and weighing, put it into the heating chamber and keep it warm for 1-2 hours, take the sample out from the chamber, cool it at room temperature and weigh it, and repeat the test to get the performance The change curve of the sample mass with the test time, and visual inspection of the oxidation of the coating. Secondly, the high-temperature gasification protection performance of the coating on the substrate can be measured, and the substrate coated with a constant thickness of the coating is used as a sample reduction, and weighed Then put it into a heated air furnace (furnace temperature 1~13°C), observe the state of the sample in the furnace regularly, if the coating is damaged, record the time and end the test, if the coating is not damaged after 24 hours, put it Take the sample out of the furnace and cool it naturally at room temperature. If the layer is still intact after cooling, weigh the sample, then put it into the furnace and repeat the above test until the coating is damaged. After the test, cut the sample Check the ili1ization of the base material, and compare and evaluate the protective performance of the coating on the base high-temperature hydrogenation according to the time and sample weight loss. According to the high temperature oxidation resistance of the coating itself and the protection ability of the substrate against high temperature oxidation, the heat resistance of the coating can be comprehensively evaluated.

2. Inspection of thermal insulation of coating

Determination of the thermal conductivity of the layer and the boundary between the coating and the substrate can evaluate and inspect the thermal insulation of the coating. The measurement of the thermal conductivity of the coating requires a set of special test equipment, including several parts: a heat source device for heating the sample, a The device for measuring the heat flow of the heated sample, the moving mechanism of the sample, and the temperature measurement and automatic recording device of the sample (related equipment: furnace temperature tracker )
