'The third part is the serial number, expressed in Arabic numerals, in order to distinguish the composition of similar varieties. There is a short dash between the second part and the third part, and its function is to separate the basic name from the serial number, so that the model formed can only represent one paint variety.

Y represents the name of the main film-forming substance "grease paint";
03 represents the basic name of the paint "mixed paint";
-1 means a variety in the mixed paint.
Identification of aluminum powder asphalt boat bottom paint
The model is L44-1,
L represents the name of the main film-forming substance "asphalt paint";
44 represents the basic name of the paint "bottom paint";
-1 indicates a bituminous boat bottom paint containing aluminum powder.
Identification of Drying Oil Modified Alkyd Varnish
The model is C01-1 ,
C represents the name of the main film-forming substance "alkyd paint";
01 means the basic name of the paint "varnish";
-1 indicates that the lacquer is composed of a drying oil modified alkyd resin.
