A coil coating is a coating applied to the surface of a coil or film material, usually consisting of polymers, pigments and additives. They can be used in many different fields, such as architectural roofing, insulation materials, automotive and aerospace industries, etc. Coil coatings provide good water, weather and UV resistance, which enhances the life and performance of the material.

Detection steps
Thickness: Use a Thickness Gauge to measure the thickness of the coil coating, record the measurements and calculate the average.
Viscosity: Use a viscometer to measure the viscosity of the coil coating, record the measurements and calculate the average.
Tensile strength and elongation at break: use a Tensile Testing Machine to conduct a tensile test, record the test data and calculate the tensile strength and elongation at break.
Water Resistance: Place the coil coating in water using a water cycler, record the time and observe changes in the coating.
Weather resistance and UV resistance: Use a UV aging Test Chamber to simulate solar radiation and atmospheric conditions to observe changes in coil coatings.
Adhesive strength: Use a shear strength Tester to conduct a shear test, record the test data and calculate the adhesive strength.
Coefficient of Expansion: Measure the coefficient of expansion of the coil coating using a coefficient of thermal expansion Tester, record the measured values and calculate the average.
