JS waterproof coatings key performance and testing instrument summary

JS waterproof coating is a kind of waterproof coating made of polymer emulsion, inorganic pigments, fillers, additives, etc. as the main raw materials, after mixing, grinding, dispersing and other processes. It has a wide range of applications and can be used for waterproof coatings in building roofs, basements, tunnels, pools and other projects. It has the advantages of good waterproof performance, long service life, and convenient construction.

Detection steps

  1. Film thickness detection: Select a flat area on the coating surface, use a Thickness Gauge to measure, and measure multiple points to get the average value.

  2. Adhesion test: clamp the adhesion Tester on the surface of the coating according to the standard operation, and apply force gradually until the coating peels off and peels off.

  3. Impermeability test: Place the coating sample in an impermeability Tester, pressurize it for a penetration test, and observe whether there is penetration.

  4. Tensile strength test: Select a flat area on the coating surface, make a standard sample, use a Tensile Testing Machine to perform a tensile test, and record the maximum tensile strength value.

  5. Weather resistance test: Place the coating sample in a weather resistance test box, and perform environmental simulation tests such as light, heating, and water mist for a certain period of time to observe whether the coating is peeling off, cracked, and faded.

  6. Durability test: Place the coating sample in an artificial climate aging box, and conduct environmental simulation tests such as heating, ultraviolet radiation, and humid heat cycle for a certain period of time to observe whether the coating is peeling off, cracked, and faded.

  7. Storage stability test: For paints that have been stored for a certain period of time, use visual inspection to observe whether there is any change in appearance, delamination, etc.
