Wall paint is a kind of paint applied to indoor and outdoor walls. Its main components include resins, pigments, fillers, etc., and can provide waterproof, moisture-proof, mildew-proof, anti-fouling, decorative and other effects. Wall paint has the advantages of various colors, convenient construction, environmental protection and no pollution, etc. It is suitable for wall decoration and protection of various buildings, home decoration, public places, etc. It has a wide range of applications, including residential buildings, office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, schools, etc.

Detection steps
The following are the corresponding detection steps:
Film thickness:
Place the coating Thickness Gauge probe on the coating surface
Get thickness measurement data.
Adhesion:
scratch a straight line on the coating surface;
Use an adhesion Tester to measure the adhesion of the coated surface.
Water resistance:
Place the coating sample in the water circulation test box to carry out the water circulation test;
Observe the changes in the coating sample, such as peeling off, discoloration, etc.
Pollution Resistance:
Place the coating sample in a simulated pollution Test Chamber to conduct a simulated pollution test;
Observe the coating sample for changes such as contamination, discoloration, etc.
Wear resistance:
Place the coated sample in the abrasion Tester;
A wear test was performed to observe the wear of the coated samples.
Color:
Use the color comparison instrument to compare the color of the wall paint sample with the standard color;
According to the comparison results, judge whether the color difference of the paint sample meets the standard requirements.
Gloss:
Place the gloss meter on the coating surface to measure its gloss value;
According to the measurement results, judge whether the glossiness of the paint sample meets the standard requirements.
pH value:
Place the paint sample in the pH meter;
Measure the pH of the paint sample.
For each test, the specific steps will be different, and you need to refer to the corresponding test standards or methods. Commonly used standards or methods include: ASTM, ISO, GB/T, etc. During the detection process, attention should be paid to the accuracy and repeatability of the instrument, as well as the source and storage method of the sample.
