Five different methods of prepative inks

There are many ways to prepare ink film, the following are some common methods:

Spin coating method: The spin coating method is to pour liquid ink on a rotating substrate, apply it evenly on the surface of the substrate by centrifugal force, and then dry it at a certain temperature and time to form an ink film. The ink film prepared by the spin coating method is uniform and the thickness is controllable, which is suitable for preparing a film with a larger area.

Spray method: The spray method is to spray the ink solution evenly on the surface of the substrate through a sprayer, and then dry it at a certain temperature and time. The ink film prepared by the spray method can precisely control the thickness and shape, and is suitable for preparing films with complex shapes.

Flexographic printing: Flexographic printing is a method of printing ink directly onto the surface of a substrate, and different printing processes can be used, such as letterpress printing, gravure printing, screen printing, etc. The ink film prepared by the flexographic printing method has simple process, low cost, and is suitable for large-area film preparation.

Thermal transfer method: The thermal transfer method is to print ink on printing paper, and then transfer the ink to the surface of the substrate by thermal transfer. The ink film prepared by the thermal transfer printing method can achieve very high resolution and pattern complexity, which is suitable for the preparation of high-precision films.

Vibration deposition method : The vibration deposition method is to immerse the substrate in a solution containing ink powder, and make the ink powder uniformly deposited on the surface of the substrate through high-frequency vibration, and then dry it at a certain temperature and time. The ink film prepared by the vibrating deposition method is uniform, low in cost and suitable for large-area film preparation.

Roller coating method: use a wire Bar Coater to prepare a film, squeeze the ink onto the coated substrate, and quickly scrape it with a wire Bar Coater. This method is often used for simple colorimetry and color matching.

Features difference

Different preparation methods have different characteristics and advantages, and should be selected according to actual needs and material properties. For example, the spin coating method is suitable for preparing large-area uniform films, and the spray method is suitable for preparing complex shapes.

The flexible printing method is suitable for large-area and low-cost film preparation, the thermal transfer method is suitable for high-precision and complex pattern film preparation, and the vibration deposition method is suitable for low-cost and large-area uniform film preparation.

In addition, there are some limitations and problems that need to be paid attention to in different preparation methods. For example, the thickness of the film prepared by the spin coating method is usually thin, and a thicker film cannot be prepared; the spray method needs to control the pressure of the spray and the angle of the spray head to obtain a uniform film; the flexographic printing method needs to select appropriate inks and printing materials to avoid problems such as scratches and shedding of the film; the thermal transfer method needs to control the transfer temperature and pressure to obtain high-quality films.

To sum up, there are various methods for preparing ink films, and the appropriate method should be selected according to actual needs, and attention should be paid to reasonably controlling the preparation parameters to obtain high-quality films.
