Disperser several common categories

A disperser is a device used to disperse solid particles or liquids into a liquid medium.

According to its working principle and design characteristics, dispersers can be divided into the following categories:

Stirring disperser: Stirring dispersers disperse particles or liquids into a medium through a rotating agitator or spiral blade. Stirring dispersers are widely used in laboratories and small-scale production, and are suitable for liquid systems with low viscosity.

High-speed shearing disperser: The high-speed shearing disperser generates strong shearing force through the high-speed rotating blade or rotor to shear and disperse solid particles or liquids into the medium. It is suitable for high-viscosity liquid systems and applications that require strong dispersion effects, such as paints, inks, adhesives, etc.

  • Ultrasonic disperser: The ultrasonic disperser uses the high-frequency vibration of ultrasonic waves to generate shear force and cavitation effects to disperse particles or liquids into the medium. Ultrasonic dispersers are suitable for high-viscosity, high-concentration systems, and can achieve micron-scale particle dispersion.

  • Grinding and dispersing machine: Grinding and dispersing machine grinds and disperses solid particles or liquids into the medium through the rotation and friction of grinding beads, sand and gravel or grinding balls. Grinding and dispersing machines are often used for fine particle dispersion in pigments, dyes, cosmetics and other fields.

  • Vacuum disperser: The vacuum disperser applies negative pressure during the dispersion process to reduce the existence of bubbles and air and improve the dispersion effect. It is suitable for systems sensitive to bubbles, such as electronic materials, fine chemicals and other fields.

Batch disperser and continuous disperser: According to the continuity of the dispersing process, dispersers can be divided into batch dispersers and continuous dispersers. Batch dispersers are suitable for small batch production and laboratory applications, while continuous dispersers are suitable for large-scale production and continuous production lines.

Each type of disperser has its specific advantages and scope of application. Choosing the right disperser requires consideration of factors such as material characteristics, particle size, viscosity, process requirements and production scale. When choosing a disperser, you need to comprehensively consider these factors, and fully communicate and understand with equipment suppliers to ensure that you choose the disperser that suits your application needs.
