Use and operation steps

Sample, coat, dry and measure thickness according to product standard requirements.

Place the instrument on the edge of the experimental bench for easy operation.

Select the appropriate shaft rod and insert it into the instrument base and fasten it with a manual lock.

Lower the pallet, insert the coating film of the sample plate face down between the shaft rod and the adjustment handle, and press the sample plate with screws and beads.

Lift the pallet so that the sample clings to the shaft rod.

Lower the adjustment handle to the lowest position and adjust the compression shaft on the handle so that it fits the template.

Lift the adjustment handle smoothly, bend the template 180 °, and then lower it smoothly.

Turn the adjustment handwheel, lower the pallet, and take out the sample.

Use 10x magnifying glass or a normal visual inspection template to record whether the coating is cracked or peeled off.

The diameter of the shaft that caused the first failure can be determined from the experimental results.

Precautions

During the bending operation, in order to avoid damaging the coating, a piece of tissue paper can be attached to the coating surface.

If using magnifying glass, please note.

If the minimum diameter shaft rod does not cause damage, it also needs to be recorded.

When not in use for a long time, the shaft rod should be coated with anhydrous Vaseline.

Finally, to ensure accurate test results, the test should be carried out under ambient conditions with a temperature of 23 ± 2 ℃ and a relative humidity of 50 ± 5%.
