The way of gluing can be divided into substrate gluing, decorative paper gluing and dry film gluing.
Substrate coating
The roll coating method is mostly used for gluing the surface of the substrate. The production process of the roll coating method has a high degree of continuity and automation. The production process of the roll coating method is: first, the substrate is transported by rollers, and the baseplate dust and other dirt are brushed clean. Then the adhesive is applied by the forward gluing roller, and then the coating is smooth by the reverse gluing roller. Then the gluing substrate enters the drying chamber to dry. The drying chamber uses hot air or hot air and infrared lights as heat sources, and the temperature is 80-130 ℃, and the glue layer is dried to a semi-dry state. The drying degree of the adhesive layer is the key to production. Insufficient or excessive drying will seriously affect the quality of the finished product. When there is too much glue and the thickness is too large, insufficient drying often occurs. When the adhesive layer is too thin, excessive drying will occur and the bonding quality will decrease. In addition, the decorative paper is too dry, and it is easy to peel off the raw rubber layer after veneer.
Decorative paper gluing
Decorative paper gluing is applied on the back of decorative paper, and there are two main methods: one is the scraper coating method, and the other is the spray coating method.
The scraper coating method uses liquid glue (such as acrylic resin), emulsion resin (such as polyvinyl acetate emulsion) and paste resin (such as polyvinyl chloride), which are directly coated on the paper surface by the scraper, and then dried.
The spraying method is to use a spraying machine to coat resin on decorative paper and then dry it.
Dry film bonding
The adhesive of decorative paper can use thermoplastic dry film instead of ordinary adhesive, and the film thickness is generally 30 μm. When using, the adhesive film is placed between the decorative paper and the substrate, which can reduce the influence of the gluing process and the uneven surface of the substrate on the decorative quality.
