Determination of gasoline resistance of interior paint materials
A painted metal plate measuring 50x100 mm is dipped in a cup filled with aviation gasoline.
The test temperature, immersion depth and immersion time are determined according to the technical conditions of the sample.
When testing at elevated temperatures, a thermostat shall be used. After the immersion time elapsed, the test panel was taken out and placed at room temperature for 1 hour to allow the gasoline to evaporate. The appearance and mechanical properties of the paint film are then checked.
The dried paint film should be able to meet the requirements of the technical conditions in terms of appearance and mechanical properties.
Determination of gasoline resistance of exterior paint materials
Sprinkle wine on the board or a piece of material (according to the technical conditions) that has been painted with external paint materials, and place it at room temperature for 1 hour to make the gasoline volatilize.
The dried paint film should not become soft, sticky, or lose its elasticity, and the appearance needs to meet the requirements of the technical conditions.
Determination of the stability of interior varnishing materials to liquid pans
For interior paints with very stable fuel action, they must be subjected to more stringent tests.
Press the two color paint films (primer and top coat) coated on the white iron plate (size x130mm), and three pieces in advance on the punching machine (see page 252) to a depth of 0.5mm and 1.0mm respectively. mm and 3.0 mm paint film (the size of the board is the same as before), placed in a flask with a reflux condenser.
Pour the mixed solution made according to the technical conditions (such as a 1:1 mixture of gasoline and benzene) into the flask.
Heat the flask to bring the mixture to the boiling point, and test the test panel within the time specified in the technical conditions. Most of the test panel is in the liquid, and a small part is in the steam.
After the test is over, after 1 minute and 1 minute, test the changes in gloss, hardness, adhesion and other mechanical properties of the test plate. (Related instruments: gloss meter, Hardness Tester)
In addition, it is necessary to check the influence of the mixed solution on the solubility of the paint film, and the peeling of the paint film on the edge of the board.
Determination of the resistance of oil speed materials
Size is that the colored paint film on the black iron plate of 40x130 millimeters drops into the flask that reflux condenser well (half volume) is filled with light gasoline (110 ℃ of boiling points). The test is carried out at 80°C within the time specified in the technical conditions. Half of the test panel was in kerosene and half in kerosene vapor. Another portion of the panel was placed in kerosene at room temperature for 72 hours. (Related instruments: constant temperature and humidity Test Chamber)
After the test, the test plate shall be washed and checked immediately for its mechanical properties. These mechanical properties shall not have significant changes.
Only variations in gloss and color (darkening) of the coating are tolerated.
