According to the petroleum and natural gas industry standard SY/T 0315-97, the hang impact performance of the anti-corrosion pipeline coating is determined as follows.
(1) Equipment required for the test
① Impact testing machine: the diameter of the spherical punch is 16mm.
② Arc-shaped anvil used for pipe section test piece: its radius is 40mm, and its hardness HRC is 55±5.
③ Wood block: its minimum size is 600mmX600mmX600mm, and its top surface is hardwood.
④Electric spark leak Detector.
⑤ freezer.
(2) Test piece
The size of the laboratory coating test piece is about 200mmX25mmX6mm, and the size of the pipe section test piece is about 200mmX25mmxpipe wall thickness, of which 200mm is the axial dimension of the pipe section. Each group of test pieces is 3 pieces.
(3) Test procedure
① Put the test piece into the freezer, cool it to -30°C ± 3°C, and keep it for at least 1 hour, put the cooled test piece into the impact testing machine, and align the stone blocks.
②Impact the test piece three times with an impact energy of at least 1.5J, and the distance between each impact point is at least 50mm. The three impacts should be completed within 30s after the specimen is taken out of the cold travel box. The ball punch should be turned to an unused position after a maximum of ten strokes. When the total number of impacts reaches 200, the punch should be replaced.
③ Allow the specimen to heat up to 20°C ± 5°C, and check for pinholes in the specimen. If an electric spark leak Detector is used, the voltage should be adjusted to 1750V ± 250V; if a wet sponge leak Detector is used, the voltage should be adjusted to 67.5±4.5V.
