The silk cotton mesh spraying method is one of the commonly used methods for simulating marble patterns, that is, on the painted surface of the prepared color primer, place a wooden frame stretched with silk cotton, and then spray a line of simulated marble patterns with a Spray Gun. Spray paint with a certain color, and a beautiful and realistic marble pattern will be formed on the paint surface. The characteristics of the silk cotton net spraying method are that the simulated marble pattern is natural and realistic, the stripes are smooth, and the colors can be diversified. , It can also be used for on-site construction such as interior building walls, colonnades, store facades, stage scenery, etc.
The process of spraying marble pattern on silk cotton mesh is as follows:
①Surface preparation: For example, when decorating on the surface of plywood, particleboard, fiberboard, etc., Dong Ji removes oil stains and glue marks, and uses No. 1 sandpaper to fully polish it manually or mechanically, and remove abrasive debris.
② Batch subtraction: Fill the surface of the workpiece with putty to eliminate unevenness, local holes, etc., and form a continuous and flat surface for removing decoration. Atoms can be modulated with varnish or novolac. The oily putty formula (percentage by weight) is as follows: stone book 62.5%, varnish 15.63%, pine perfume 18.75%, water 3.12%. The amount of pine pan water can be increased or decreased according to the construction conditions, and the putty can be adjusted to a suitable construction viscosity.
③Ping operation: dry at room temperature for 4~8 hours.
④ Grinding: Use No. 1 sandpaper to completely smooth the putty and remove abrasive debris.
⑤ Primer (second coat): Brush white blended paint (or white thick lacquer, phenolic varnish, pine perfume blend) to brush evenly so that the bottom can be missed. The primer is used to cover the color of the substrate, fix the putty, and reduce the consumption of topcoat. The first white primer has a good covering power and a brighter base color.
⑥ Drying: Dry at 20°C for 12-24 hours.
⑦ Polishing: Use No. 0 or No. 1 old wood sandpaper, and lightly sand it by hand for _ times comprehensively to remove particles and bristles.
⑧ Primer (second coat): Adjust the color of the primer to the marble to be simulated. For example, to simulate the "achromatic" marble with black, white and gray interlaced patterns, the background color can be painted white or light gray. Brush evenly once, without sagging or missing brush.
⑨Drying: dry operation at 20°C for 12~24 hours.
⑩ Polishing: Use No. 0 sandpaper to lightly polish the entire paint surface to remove particles, bristles, etc.
⑪Spray marble pattern: Make a wooden frame according to the size of the marble in advance, and lay stretched silk on the wooden frame to form a mesh. The direction of the voids in the silk cotton mesh is similar to the flow direction of the simulated marble pattern. When spraying, place the wooden frame on the dried primer surface and spray nitro paint with a Spray Gun. The color of the lacquer is adjusted according to the color of the simulated marble texture. If you make black, white and gray marble, the paint color is black. After spraying, remove the silk screen, and the paint surface will show a beautiful monochromatic marble pattern. After drying, use a soft cloth to gently clean the silk-phase fibers and spray varnish on them.
In order to make the simulated marble pattern more realistic, it is necessary to add some stone veins of other colors on the marble pattern. The veins can be attached to the dried paint film with a hollow board engraved with "cracks" according to the design requirements of the stone pattern. Several crack bells formed. The nozzle of the Spray Gun used should be small and the air pressure should be lower.
If you want to simulate spraying colorful marble patterns, you only need to use a coordinated color paint to simulate the direction of stone patterns and spray a few curved lines on the primer of a certain color, and then coat the silk cotton frame on the surface of the paint film. , Spray another or two kinds of color paint required by the customs on the silk patching net, and then remove the silk cotton net to form colorful marble patterns.
