Two typical dipping methods

(1) centrifugal dip coating method

This method is suitable for the overall coating of small parts with irregular switches. It is completed by two main processes: first, the coated parts are placed in a wire mesh basket, and then immersed in a dipping tank. After the painted parts are taken out, they should be sent to the centrifugal drum for a short period of high-speed rotation (the time is 1~2min, the speed is about 1000r/min), and the excess paint is shaken off, and then dried.

(2) Vacuum dip coating method

Vacuum dipping is composed of dipping tank, Vacuum Pump, Air Compressor, conduit, control instrument and so on. The dipping tank needs to withstand a test pressure of 4~6MPa and a working pressure of 2MPa (one of which works under vacuum and the other under pressure). This method is suitable for dip coating of electrical coils, electrodes, wood, porous castings, and various non-metallic materials for anti-corrosion. Figure 2-7-5 is a schematic diagram of vacuum impregnation equipment.
