Dipping operation precautions and equipment maintenance

(1) Precautions for dip coating operation

(1) According to the requirements of coating film thickness, determine the construction viscosity of the coating in the file. It should be tested regularly and adjusted in time. If the viscosity is too low, the original paint should be added, and if the viscosity is too high, a matching thinner should be added.

(2) According to the change of operating environment temperature, appropriate heating or cooling is adopted to keep the temperature of the paint in the file within a certain range.

(3) In order to maintain the uniformity and non-precipitation of the coating components in the tank, regular stirring is required. After stirring evenly, it should be allowed to stand for a certain period of time. Dip coating can only be carried out after the air bubbles are eliminated.

(4) During the dip coating operation, the speed of lifting the paint solution from the coated part should not be too fast, and should be close to the leveling speed of the paint, otherwise defects such as bubbles and flow marks will easily occur, which will affect the quality of the coating film.

(5) After the dip coating operation is completed, the dip coating tank should be covered to prevent dust or dirt from falling into the tank and contaminating the paint.

(6) In order to keep the working environment clean, the ventilation device should be activated during the operation to allow the air to circulate. It must comply with the GB/6514-1995 Safety Regulations for Painting Operations, the safety of the painting process and the requirements for ventilation and purification, and discharge harmful gases. Swirl for a few minutes before closing the ventilation unit.

(2) Maintenance of ventilation equipment

(1) During the dip coating operation, the object to be coated should be placed in a stable position to prevent the object to be coated from colliding with the anti-corrosion layer on the tank wall and other auxiliary equipment, and the object to be coated should be removed in time if it falls into the tank.

(2) In order to ensure normal dip coating operation, the stirring device, heating and cooling equipment, ventilation device, etc. should be checked and maintained frequently.

(3) For the electrostatic paint removal device, the voltage should be stable to prevent spark discharge, fire hazards and hidden dangers should be eliminated, and the fire prevention device should be in good condition.
