The aging test is to investigate the durability of the paint film in artificially simulated atmospheric environment conditions. GB/T1865-89 stipulates the use of 6000w water-cooled tubular xenon lamps, the distance between the sample and the light source is 350~400mm, the air temperature in the laboratory is 45°C±2°C, the relative humidity is 70%±5%, and the rainfall cycle is 12min per hour. Choose the appropriate temperature, humidity, rainfall cycle and time according to the special purpose.
In the early stage of the test model, check every 48h, and after 192h, check every 96h. Check and change the position of the test panel each time, until the paint film aging test result reaches any item of "poor level" in the comprehensive rating method of GB/T1766-95 paint film weather resistance, the test is terminated.
The artificial accelerated aging machine has complex mechanism, high price, high power consumption, and high test cost. Therefore, in the general weather resistance assessment, the United States mostly uses the Quv accelerated aging Tester (see Figure 3_8_8) for experimental research. The main phase emission peak of the ultraviolet light source is 313nm, which is helpful for the action of oxygen and water vapor, and the test speed is very fast, which is especially suitable for formula screening. The suNTEsT Tester is a small Tester. Under the irradiation of similar sunlight, it is pumped to periodically spray water to test the weather resistance of a small number of test panels.
