Construction method of heavy anti-corrosion painting brushing

The quality of brushing mainly depends on the actual experience and proficiency of the operator. Before painting, the paint needs to be fully stirred evenly by hand or mechanically. If there are skins or particles in the paint, the skins should be removed. It is also filtered with a filter net. During brushing and construction, the viscosity range of the coating is very wide, and the construction is greatly affected by the subjective and objective environment of the operator. The viscosity of the paint should be adjusted with a suitable diluent, generally 20~5h (coated with a _4 cup viscometer, measured at 25°C) is the most suitable.

(1) Before using the new paint brush, rub the bristle head back and forth on 1.5# emery cloth to smooth and soften the bristles, otherwise it is easy to shed hair and leave brush marks. Before use, the bristles should be adjusted upward several times to remove the residual hair and dust in the brush. In case of hair loss, shellac paint, nitro paint, or polyurethane varnish can be infiltrated into the root of the bristles to cure it, or a few small nails can be nailed on both sides.

(2) When dipping the paint with a brush, the part of the bristles immersed in the paint should not exceed half of the length of the bristles. The paintbrush dipped in paint should be wiped lightly on the inner surface of the container to remove excess paint.

(3) The operation of painting is from top to bottom, from left to right, first inside and then outside, first oblique and then straight, first difficult and then easy, vertical and horizontal painting. Finally, use a brush to gently modify the edges and corners, so that the paint can form a thin, uniform, bright and smooth coating film on the object surface. The construction requirements are: no flow, no hang, no wrinkle, no leakage, no brush marks.

(4) Form a full coating, keep the brush and the coating surface at an angle of 45°~60°, brush the paint on the coating surface evenly, and pre-coat the difficult parts with a small brush.

(5) To form a continuous coating with uniform thickness, brush in one direction with a brush that squeezes out excess paint, and then brush in a vertical direction.

(6) Make the coating film flat and drive away; bubbles, use a brush to squeeze out excess paint and gently brush in one direction until there are no bubbles in the coating film.

(7) For volatile quick-drying paint, use a soft brush to brush in blocks, that is, divide the coated surface into several pieces. When brushing each piece, it is required to move briskly and accurately, and try to avoid back brushing to prevent bottoming or blooming . Each piece of paint should overlap with the previous piece by 1/3 of the brushing width until all the painted surfaces are painted.

(8) Pay attention to the following points when brushing:

For vertical surfaces, the last coat should be applied from top to bottom;

For horizontal surfaces, the last coat of paint should be carried out in the direction of the light;

For wood surfaces, the brushing should follow the grain of the wood grain.

(9) After the construction is completed, the paintbrush should be properly preserved. If the construction is interrupted for a short time, the bristle part of the paint brush should be suspended vertically in the corresponding solvent (or water), and the bristles should not be exposed to the liquid surface, nor should the bristles be directly connected to the bottom of the raw container. Just shake off the solvent (or water) and wipe dry before use. If it is not used for a long time, it needs to be washed effectively with a solvent, dried, wrapped in plastic film, and stored in a dry place.
