Coating is the core process of coating construction, and it has an important impact on the performance of coatings. The coating method has developed greatly in recent years, and is moving towards mechanization, braking and continuous direction. The selection of professional coating methods and equipment can improve the coating quality, coating utilization rate and coating construction efficiency, and improve the labor conditions and strength of construction.
Coating methods can be divided into the following types:
(1) Hand tool painting
This is the traditional method of painting and is still in use today. These include brush, wipe, roller, knife, screen, and aerosol can spray methods. Some methods and tools are the same as the original method, some have been improved.
(2) Motor tool painting
This method is widely used, mainly Spray Gun spraying, including air spraying, airless spraying and thermal spraying.
(3) Painting of equipment and equipment
This has developed rapidly in recent years, and now it has gradually developed from mechanization to automation, serialization and specialization. Some methods have been connected with the surface treatment before painting and the processes before and after drying to form a professional painting engineering pipeline. This method includes dip coating, curtain coating, roller coating, pumping coating, electrostatic spraying and automatic spraying developed from spraying, electrodeposition (electrophoretic) coating and self-deposition coating, and powder coating coating.
The coating method is generally selected according to the conditions of the object to be coated, the requirements for coating quality and the characteristics of the coating used.
(1) Brushing method
An earlier and simpler method of painting, suitable for painting objects of any shape. In addition to the volatile paints that dry too quickly, it can be applied to more tired paints. It is easy to steal the fine pores of the metal surface by brush painting, so it can strengthen the adhesion to the metal surface. Of course, the disadvantages are low productivity, high labor intensity, poor decorative performance, and sometimes brush marks are left on the coating surface. Of course, a lot has been done to the brushing tool this year.
(2) Wiping method
Use a soft cotton ball to wrap gauze into a cotton ball, dip it in paint and rub it by hand
(3) Roller brushing method
Emulsion paints and marine paints for building construction can be used to paint walls and knurls by roller coating.
(4) Scratch coating method
Use metal or non-metallic scrapers, such as hard rubber sheets, glass fiber reinforced plastic scrapers, horn scrapers, etc. to scrape and scrape by hand, which is used to scrape various paints and putty.
(5) Screen method
The screen method of painting is mainly used for tinplate, plywood, and cardboard to be painted into multi-color pattern and text.
In addition, there are aerosol can spraying methods, spraying methods, etc., which will not be described in detail.
