Anti-corrosion coating process of frame and various brackets

Frames, pedals, fenders, and various brackets and other parts are all under the car, often in contact with mud and water, and the service conditions are harsh. The coating is required to have good corrosion resistance, that is, it has excellent corrosion resistance. Salt spray resistance, water resistance and mechanical strength. Frames, pedals, fenders and various brackets and other components are generally made of hot-rolled steel, and there are oxide scales and yellow rust on the surface, which should be removed before painting.

Process flow: hanging → shot blasting → cleaning floating dust, → dipping → leveling → removing residual paint → drying → inspection → hanging

The role of the main station is as follows

①Shot blasting treatment removes scale, yellow rust on the surface of the workpiece and oil stains brought during processing.

②Clean up the floating dust Clean up the floating dust on the surface of the workpiece to prevent it from affecting the performance of the coating film.

③ Dip coating Immerse the workpiece in the dip coating tank for 1~2min, control the viscosity of the coating to ~30s (coating a 4 viscometer, 25°C), the construction temperature is ~30°C, and the film thickness of one dip coating is 25~ 40μm

④ leveling to make the wet coating evenly leveled.

⑤Removing the remaining paint Use a brush to remove the remaining paint or blow off the remaining paint with 0.3~0.4MPa compressed air.

⑥Drying Make the coating film dry at 135~140°C for 1 minute, and cool naturally.

⑦ Check 100% check the gloss, orange peel, thickness, appearance defects and dryness of the coating.
