4) The smart type (BZ) has not been calibrated according to the correct steps (solution: refer to the instruction manual and set zero on the black velvet [this step cannot be omitted, no matter how many values are displayed, you need to press the zero key], and then set it on the black standard board Calibrated in the order of calibration.)
Common mistakes made by users
1) Light leakage from the measurement object leads to measurement deviation.
When measuring, the surface of the measured object needs to cover the measuring hole of the gloss meter. If the measured object is not flat, it is recommended to choose the small aperture gloss meter produced by our company (minimum aperture 1.5*3mm2 ellipse measuring hole)
2) During the calibration of the intelligent gloss meter, the black glass standard plate was mistakenly set to zero as black velvet, resulting in deviations in the calibration.
3) The optical system at the bottom of the gloss meter is irradiating while receiving. Customers often mistakenly think that there are light sources on both sides, and mistake one-sided illumination for instrument failure.
4) The three-angle intelligent gloss meter was not calibrated according to the calibration sequence in the manual, resulting in deviations in calibration.
5) The random lens paper is used to wipe the black and white standard plate to remove dirt, and cannot be used to wipe the measuring lens of the gloss meter.

1) Body:
This instrument is an optical precision instrument and should avoid violent impact. And try to use it in a dry, clean, and temperature-friendly environment; when not in use, please place the detection window down to avoid dirt on the measurement lens; place for the next measurement.
2) Accessories:
Please be sure to keep the standard plate of the instrument clean to avoid measurement errors due to inaccurate readings during instrument calibration. When the standard plate is stained, please wipe it with lens paper or lens cloth. The black standard plate can be wiped with lens paper dipped in absolute ethanol. The white ceramic plate needs to be dried in a Drying Oven (60°--65°) after being wiped with ethanol. More than two hours.
(JFL-B type) Please be sure to use alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries produced by regular manufacturers to avoid battery leakage and corrosion of the body.
measurement skills
1) In order to ensure more accurate measurement during measurement, calibrate on the standard board after power-on, and please do not turn the adjustment knob to avoid measurement errors after JFL-B series adjustment is completed.
2) From a place with lower temperature to a place with higher temperature (such as outdoor to indoor in winter), please wait for a while before taking measurements. (Because the surface of the optical lens will be fogged from a place with a low temperature to a place with a high temperature)
3) Please do not measure under the environment of direct sunlight on the tested product, so as not to affect the measured value.
