2. General Specifications

7. Measurement steps
pH measurement
1. Calibrate the pH electrode before measuring.
2. Connect the pH electrode to the BNC socket.
3. Select pH_A or pH_M with the slide switch.
4. If in ATC mode, please refer to 5.1.1 Temperature Compensation.
5. If in MTC mode, please refer to 5.1.2 Temperature Compensation.
6. Put the electrode into the solution to be tested, and the meter will display the pH value.
7. After measurement, please clean the electrode with distilled water.
mV measurement
The meter is applicable for ORP in mV measurement.
1. Slide the switch to select the mV range.
2. The mV value can be measured.
8. Care of the pH electrode
正确使用和保存电极,可以延长电极的玻璃膜寿命,如果电极讀值缓慢或不稳定的讀值,请依下面的步骤操作。
8.1 清洗 pH 电极棒
8.1.1 蛋白质污染:把电极的尖端浸在 10%的 pepsin(胃蛋白脢)溶液 30 分钟,用去離子水清洗,使用之前先将电极浸在 pH7.00 标准液中兩小时。
8.1.2 油脂污染:用 50% water-acetone(丙酮)溶液清洗电极,不要把电极浸在 acetone(丙酮)溶液,它会损坏塑胶电极底部的密封 , 用去離子水清洗 , 使用之前先将电极浸在 pH7.00 标准液中兩小时 。
8.2 修復 pH 电极棒依前面步骤保养和清洁,让电极恢復可接受的标准,立即用去離子水清洗,使用之前先将电极浸在 pH7.00 标准液中兩小时。
注意:
预防持续损坏,选择合适量测电极是必要的,如果长时间不使用,应将电池移除。
请随时将电极浸在 4M KCL。使用之前先用去離子水清洗电极。
为了延长电极寿命,避免接触或磨擦电极。
9. 常見问题
※开机无显示:检查电池是否松脱,或是更换新电池。
※讀值不稳定:清洗探棒或确定感测器完全接触待测溶液或检查探棒有无损坏,如有损坏
请更换新的探棒。
※反应变慢:用水龍头冲洗探棒 10~15 分钟,然后用蒸馏水或一般探棒清洁剂清洗。
※在 pH_A 模式 LCD 显示 E1:3.5mm 的插头未确实插入仪表内。
※在 pH_A 模式 LCD 显示 E2:溶液温度超过 100℃(212℉)。
※在 pH_A 模式 LCD 显示 E3:溶液温度低于 0℃(32℉)。
※不能进入校正模式:检查低电位符号“ ”是否显示。
※ Data cannot be stored: check if the pH value and temperature value are "OL" or "-OL", and check if the low potential symbol " " is displayed.
10. Battery Replacement
Use standard 9V battery (NEDA1604, IEC6F22). When the LCD displays the " " symbol, the battery needs to be replaced. Loosen the two screws at the back of the meter, open the battery cover, and replace with a new battery.
11. Cleaning
Regularly wipe the casing with a damp cloth, do not use abrasive solutions to wipe the casing
