How to use the conductivity meter

Precautions for use of conductivity meter
1 Except for the electrode plate, other parts should not be affected by moisture. The electric plug and conductivity cell should be kept clean.
2 When the measured solution is transferred to the battery, try to avoid concentration changes. When high-purity water is loaded into the conductivity cell, it should be measured immediately to avoid the change of conductivity caused by the dissolution of carbon dioxide in the air.
3. When measuring the most infiltrated liquid, it must be processed until it is cleared first, because the impulsive liquid will increase the resistance of the solution. Do not shake during the measurement, so as not to damage the black layer of the electrode.
4 When measuring a solution with high conductivity, the solution should be diluted before measurement.
5. When performing precision measurement, the conductivity cell should be placed in a thermostat, because experiments have shown that for every 1°C increase, the conductivity of the solution increases by about 2% to 2.5%.
