* The FHT series is an important tool for growers , telling them when to pick and ship .
* The FHT Fruit Hardness Tester measures the force with which a punch of a specific size is pushed into the pulp. Strength readings help determine the right time or monitor softening of fruit during storage.
* Due to the variety of fruits and vegetables, geographical location and other changes, the suitable hardness of collection also varies. Therefore, it is up to users of FHT to use experience and expertise to establish the hardness value for their particular variation and region.
