What is Coating Ratio?

The paint contrast ratio is mainly to measure the hiding ability of the paint. The better the hiding ability, the less thick the coating thickness is, so the painting area will be larger.

To measure the paint contrast ratio, the paint is evenly scraped on the hiding power paper by a wire Bar Coater. After drying, the degree of substrate coverage is measured by the black and white shape on the hiding power paper.

Paint contrast ratio is a very important measurement standard in paint testing standards.
