Instrument measurement and whiteness formula of cellulose fabric

Whiteness B formula of linen fabric, B formula can also be simplified and replaced by tristimulus value Z value, so that the whiteness measurement of cotton, polyester cotton and linen fabrics is effective and convenient. This paper also discusses the relationship between whiteness and yellowness of textiles, and proposes to express it by the reciprocal relationship, that is, W·Y=1; B·Y=1; Z·Y=1.

1. Instruments and fabrics

The Whiteness Meter used in my country's textile industry has been developed and updated from the ZBD whiteness Tester to the DSBD-1 digital Whiteness Meter, both in terms of appearance and performance. Its standard whiteboard is calibrated by the CHINA Institute of Metrology. The instruments used in this paper are domestic DsBD-1 digital Whiteness Meter (Wenzhou Ludong Instrument Factory) and Japan CM-7. Colorimeter (Murakami Color Technology Laboratory Co., Ltd.).
