Coating film, also known as paint film, is mainly used in coating construction. When the coating is applied, the liquid film is applied to the substrate and dried to form a coating film. The main function of the coating film is to protect the coated object. Whether it can play a protective role depends on the adhesion of the coating film. The adhesion of the coating film directly affects the adhesion time of the coating . The adhesion of the coating film is affected by many factors. In this paper , the adhesion promoter is further studied through the understanding of the adhesion mechanism of the coating film . Mechanical adhesion, also known as physical adhesion, is mainly affected by the physical state of the surface of the object to be coated , such as roughness, porosity, etc. The surface of each object to be coated is not flat without any defects. These irregularities can increase the surface area of the object to be coated and also facilitate the penetration of the paint into the substrate. The surface of materials such as plastics and metals can form an auxiliary force with the coating film. This auxiliary force can improved through some special forms, such as treating the surface of the plastic with an aggressive solvent to make the surface of the plastic rougher and thus able to Make the coating film better immersed in the plastic surface to enhance the adhesion between the coating film and the plastic.
