1. The fire protection spraying protection of steel structure should be constructed by a professional construction team who has passed the training and has corresponding construction qualifications. Formulate strict construction plans according to project characteristics and product selection. The physical and chemical properties of the paint can be sampled according to the specified ratio before the project is carried out according to the needs of the project. 2. The surface cleaning of the base material of the fire retardant coating should be strictly inspected as a process. Remove dust, iron filings, rust, grease and other substances that hinder adhesion, and do a good job of antirust treatment for the substrate. The primer and surface coating in the fireproof coating should be matched accordingly, and the primer must not corrode the steel.
3. The thickness of the coating should reach the design value, and the joints should be thickened. Spraying site requirements, surface treatment of components, joint filling, coating preparation, number of spraying times, quality control and acceptance, etc., shall all comply with the provisions of the current national standard "Technical Specifications for the Application of Fireproof Coatings for Steel Structures" (CECS24). Coating thickness should be checked during construction (measured with a Thickness Gauge). If the cracks in the coating are common and the width is large, it is necessary to study and analyze whether the process is correct and whether the mixing ratio of the coating is reasonable.
4. When spraying fireproof coatings, it is necessary to master the consistency of the coatings, the pressure of the Air Compressor and the distance between the nozzle and the components when spraying. The main observation during construction is that there are too many splashes, indicating that the construction parameters are unreasonable and should be adjusted. The amount of diluent in the paint should not be too much, otherwise the normal construction viscosity of the paint will be reduced, and the paint cannot adhere to the surface of the steel structure.
5. During the coating construction process, it is necessary to apply the last coating after the previous coating is basically dry and solidified. The coating protection method, the number of application times and the thickness of the protective layer should be determined according to the construction design requirements. The coating thickness of each application should be moderate, and it should not be too thick or not rolled evenly, so as not to affect the quality of the coating. Strictly follow the painting process, and avoid leaving hidden dangers to the building in order to rush the construction period.
6. After the completion of the project, it is not only possible to measure the thickness of the coating. It is also necessary to visually detect the coating color, leakage and cracks, use a 0.75-1kg hammer to lightly tap the coating to detect its strength, etc., and use a 1m ruler to detect Coating smoothness.
