2. How to use:
1. Open the battery cover, insert the battery, and turn on the power.
2. Open the protective case and pull the electrode out. (The length can be adjusted by yourself)
3. Clean the electrode with pure water and dry it, place the electrode in the 147μs/cm conductivity calibration solution, shake the electrode lightly, and when the displayed value is stable, insert a small screwdriver into the small hole on the right to adjust the displayed value to 147μs/cm .
4. After the calibration is completed, wash the electrode with pure water and dry it, then insert the electrode into the solution to be tested, shake the electrode lightly, and the reading after the displayed value is stable is the conductivity value of the solution.
5. The reference temperature measured by the instrument is 25°C. Although the instrument has the function of automatic temperature compensation, in order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement, the temperature of the calibration solution is as close as possible to the temperature of the measured solution. Generally, it should be ≤±10°C . When the temperature difference between the two is large, try to change the temperature of the calibration solution.
6. After use, wash the electrode with pure water and dry it, and put on a protective cover.
3. Matters needing attention:
1. When measuring, the solution must not exceed the immersion cut-off line to prevent the solution from entering the instrument and causing damage.
2. The surface of the conductivity electrode is coated with a layer of platinum black to reduce the polarization of the electrode. When wiping the electrode, do not touch the platinum black coating to avoid damage to the platinum black coating.
3. If the display value becomes blurred, does not display or goes out immediately after pressing the switch, or the display value has a large error, it means that the battery voltage is lower than the usage requirement, please replace the battery in time.
