Prepare

1. Prepare the pH/ion selective electrode according to the electrode operating instructions.

• Gently remove the electrode cap, electrode sheath or storage bottle.

• Fillable electrodes open the filling hole and add suitable electrode filling solution.

• Soak the pH electrode in the pH electrode storage solution for more than 2 hours; the ion-selective electrode should be pretreated according to the operating instructions.

2. Select the appropriate buffer group according to the pH value of the sample, and the difference between each buffer solution should be 3 pH; select , and the difference between each standard solution should be 10 times.

set up

1. Automatic recognition of buffer group settings

(1) In the measurement state, press the setup key to enter the setup menu.

(2) Press ▲/▼ key to select channel 1 or channel 2, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(3) Press the ▲/▼ key to select CalibrationSetup, and press the f2 (select) key to confirm.

(4) Press ▲/▼ key to select pH, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(5) Press ▲/▼ key to select BufferSet, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(6) Press ▲/▼ key to select US (pH1.68, 4.01, 7.00, 10.01 and 12.46) or EURO (pH1.68, 4.01, 6.86 and 9.18), and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(7) Press the measure key to return to the measurement state.

2. Measurement Mode Settings

(1) In the measurement state, press the setup key to enter the setup menu.

(2) Press ▲/▼ key to select channel 1 or channel 2, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(3) Press ▲/▼ key to select pH, ISE, mV, RmV or ORP, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(4) If you choose ISE, you will be prompted to select the ion measurement unit, press the ▲/▼ key to select ppm, mg/L, %, M or no unit, and press the f2 (select) key to confirm.

(5) Press the measure key to return to the measurement state.

3. Electrode ID number setting

(1) In the measurement state, press the setup key to enter the setup menu.

(2) Press ▲/▼ key to select channel 1 or channel 2, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(3) Press ▲/▼ key to select Electrode ID, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(4) Press the ▲/▼ key to select the corresponding electrode type, pH, redox (ORP), fluoride ion (F-), ammonia (NH3), ammonium ion (NH4+), nitrate (NO3-), nitrite (NO2-), sulfide ion (S-2), chloride ion (Cl-), chlorine gas (Cl2), bromide ion (Br-), iodide ion (I-), cyanide ion (CN-), sodium ion (Na+) , potassium ion (K+), calcium ion (Ca+2), silver ion (Ag+), copper ion (Cu+2), lead ion (Pb+2), chromium ion (Cd+2), perchlorate (ClO4-), fluoroborate (BF4 -), thiocyanate (SCN-), nitrogen oxides (NOX), carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen (O2), monovalent cation (X+), monovalent anion (X-), divalent cation (X+2) or Divalent anion (X-2), and press the f2 (select) key to confirm.

(5) Press the measure key to return to the measurement state.

4. Reading type setting

(1) In the measurement state, press the setup key to enter the setup menu.

(2) Press ▲/▼ key to select channel 1 or channel 2, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(3) Press ▲/▼ key to select ReadType, and press f2 (select) key to confirm.

(4) Press the ▲/▼ key to select the corresponding reading type, and press the f2 (select) key to confirm.

•AUt0-Read-After the measurement result is stable, the meter will lock the reading, press the measure key to start measuring again.

•OnReady—When the measurement result is stabilizing, the indicator will display stabilizing. After the reading is stable, the indicator will display ready. The indicator will update automatically when the measurement result changes.

• AtTimeIntervals - Measurements are taken at set time intervals.

•Continous—Continuous measurement, the instrument is constantly updated according to the change of the reading, without any prompt.

•ValueChangeInMeasurement - When the measurement result reaches or exceeds the set value, the meter will display the measurement result.

•TimedReading - When the measurement time reaches the set value, the meter will lock the reading, press the measure key to start measuring again.

(5) Press the measure key to return to the measurement state.

2-point pH automatic calibration

1. Connect the power supply, press the power button to turn on.

2. Connect the electrode to channel 1 or channel 2 of the meter.

3. In the measurement mode, press the f2 (cal) key to enter the calibration mode.

4. Press the ▲/▼ key to select the corresponding channel, and press the f2 (accept) key to confirm.

5. Rinse the electrode with deionized water, dry it and put it in the first buffer.

6. When the electrode and standard solution are ready, press the f3 (start) key to start calibration.

7. Wait for the pH value to stop flashing, if the displayed pH value is correct, press the f2 (accept) key to confirm; if the displayed pH value is incorrect, use the f3 (clear) key, number keys and decimal keys to enter the correct pH value , and press the f2 (accept) key to confirm.

8. Press the f2 (next) key to enter the second point calibration.

9. Rinse the electrode with deionized water, dry it and put in the second buffer.

10. When the electrode and standard solution are ready, press the f3 (start) key to start the next point calibration.

11. Wait for the pH value to stop flashing, if the displayed pH value is correct, press the f2 (accept) key to confirm; if the displayed pH value is incorrect, use the f3 (clear) key, number keys and decimal keys to enter the correct pH value , and press the f2 (accept) key to confirm.

12. Press the f3 (caldone) key to exit the calibration, and the meter will display the calibration status. Press the f2 (log/print) key to save or print the data. The meter automatically returns to measurement mode.

2-point ion concentration correction

1. Connect the power supply and press the power button to turn on the machine.

2. Connect the electrode to channel 1 or channel 2 of the meter.

3. In the measurement mode, press the f2 (cal) key to enter the calibration mode.

4. Press the ▲/▼ key to select the corresponding channel, and press the f2 (accept) key to confirm.

5. Rinse the electrode with deionized water, dry it and put it into a low-concentration standard solution.

6. When the electrode and standard solution are ready, press the f3 (start) key to start calibration.

7. Wait for the ion concentration value to stop flashing, use the f3 (clear) key, number keys and decimal keys to input the correct ion concentration value, and press the f2 (accept) key to confirm.

8. Press the f2 (next) key to enter the second point calibration.

9. Rinse the electrode with deionized water, dry it and put it into a high-concentration standard solution.

10. When the electrode and standard solution are ready, press the f3 (start) key to start the second point calibration.

11. Wait for the ion concentration value to stop flashing, use the f3 (clear) key, number keys and decimal keys to input the correct ion concentration value, and press the f2 (accept) key to confirm.

12. Press the f3 (caldone) key to exit the calibration, and the meter will display the calibration status. Press the f2 (log/print) key to save or print the data. The meter automatically returns to measurement mode.

pH and ion concentration measurement

1. Rinse the ion electrode with deionized water, dry it and put it into the sample.

2. Wait for the reading to stabilize, record the pH or ion concentration value and the temperature reading. 3. Measure the next sample and repeat steps 2 and 3.

4. After the measurement, store the electrode correctly according to the electrode operation manual.
