Influencing factors of wood furniture film adhesion

The adhesion of paint film on the surface of wood furniture refers to the ability of the coating to firmly bond with the surface of the wood furniture substrate or between the coatings (through physical and chemical interactions) 1 . The important function of wood furniture finishing is protection and decoration. Only when the paint film formed by furniture paint is well combined with wood and the surface of wooden materials can it play a decorative and protective role for wooden furniture, so the adhesion of the paint film is the primary performance of the paint film. The furniture with good paint film adhesion is durable; the furniture surface with poor paint film adhesion is easy to cause cracking and falling off, which seriously shortens the service life of wooden furniture. This paper mainly analyzes the factors affecting the adhesion of wood furniture paint film, and provides some theories and methods for improving the adhesion of wood furniture paint film.
