Zhou Xiangdong, Zhong Mingqiang and other scholars from the Basic Chemistry Experiment Center of Zhejiang University of Technology introduced some important structural characterization methods of nanocomposite coatings in their paper "Structure and Performance Characterization Methods of Nanocomposite Coatings", including scanning tunneling microscope, atomic force microscope, ultraviolet Visible spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, extended 5-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy. And the performance characteristics of nano-coatings (color of liquid paint, viscosity of liquid paint, storage stability, hiding power, hardness and abrasion resistance) and the testing methods adopted are expounded. Some advances in the research of nanocomposite coatings are briefly described, some problems in the structure and performance characterization of nanocomposite coatings are put forward, and the development direction is pointed out.
