The calibrating of box resistance furnace for experiment

Box furnace is an experimental equipment used in coal, electric power, petrochemical, military , metallurgy and coal-related industries. Specific Calibration Process

Calibration is usually performed with an empty furnace. Before calibration, fix the measurement end of the detection thermocouple on each determined temperature measurement point position of the temperature measurement frame, and make a mark. Then, put the temperature measuring frame into the furnace, lead the thermocouple reference end out of the furnace, and connect to the measuring instrument through the changeover switch according to the serial number of the mark . Close the furnace door, send power to raise the temperature, and set to the required calibration temperature.

When the furnace temperature reaches the calibration temperature, take a reading after it stabilizes. Within 60 minutes , record the temperature displayed by the monitoring point, each temperature measuring point and the temperature control instrument every 3 minutes, and test 20 times in total. Each record of the monitoring point, each temperature measuring point and the temperature displayed by the temperature control instrument should be completed within 1min.

The calculation of furnace temperature stability is inconsistent with the calculation . According to the experiment and referring to the relevant technical literature, the description in this article is more reasonable and can reflect the stability and fluctuation direction of the furnace.
