Select the appropriate joint jig for measurement and install it on the dynamometer.
(1) Tensile measurement
Install the stretching jig to the end marked PULL on the push-pull rod.
(2) Compression measurement
Install the push jig to the end marked PUSH on the push-pull rod.
(3) Application of extension rod
When the object to be measured cannot be reached by the tension and compression fixture alone, please use the extension rod to install the fixture.
Notice:
When measuring with an extension rod, the measured object and the dynamometer must be on the same straight line, otherwise the accurate load value cannot be measured.
(4) How to use the switching knob
(a) Load peak value (PEAK)--continuous load value (TRACK) switching Press the switch knob slightly down and turn left, so that the "●" mark of the knob stops at the position of continuous load value (TRACK) superior.
(b) Continuous load value (TRACK)--switching of peak load (PEAK) Turn the switch knob to the right, at this time the knob pops up, and the "●" mark of the knob stops at the position of peak load (PEAK).
(c) Precautions after measurement
After the measurement is completed, please place the "●" mark of the switching knob on the position of the peak load (PEAK). If it is placed in the position of continuous load value (TRACK) for a long time, the service life of the internal return spring will be shortened.
(5) Adjustment of the dial
(a) Please confirm whether the pointer is aligned with the (0) position of the dial. If it is not aligned, please rotate the adjustment ring of the dial, and the dial will move in unison to make the pointer align with (0).
(b) When the dynamometer is placed vertically, especially when a fixture is installed, the pointer will deflect to one side even if no load is applied, which is caused by the weight of the machine. Rotate the dial to adjust so that the (0) position of the dial is aligned with the pointer - this has no effect on the accuracy of the measurement results.
Note: If a load exceeding the maximum measurement range is often applied to the machine, the spring property of the load detection mechanism will gradually deteriorate, resulting in failure to detect the correct load value.
When using, please be careful not to apply a load exceeding the maximum measurement range to maintain the service life of the dynamometer.
