1. Determination method. Taking the TG328A balance as an example, the method of determination is explained in detail. Turn on the balance, and measure the balance position L-1 of the balance, for example, it is 0 (if the balance is unbalanced, pieces of paper can be added to a lighter weighing pan). Close the balance, add a 10 mg standard small weight to the left scale, and measure the balance position L-2 of the balance, for example, it is -94-0 division, and the actual balance pointer is offset by 94-0 division. Close the balance, take off the 10 mg standard small weight, move the left angler to the back of the same lifting lug load-bearing plate, and keep the right angler at the rear end of the edge knife. Turn on the balance again, and measure the balance position L-3 of Daping as 6-0 division. Then add the same 10 mg standard small weight in the left weighing pan, and the measured balance position L-4 of the balance is -100-0 division, and the actual large flat pointer is offset by 106-0 division. Comparing the amount of change in the balance position of the balance after adding the 10 mg standard small weight twice, it can be determined that the back angle of the left blade of this balance is high, and the front angle is low, with a difference of 12 divisions.

2. Adjustment method. Through the above measurement, the horizontal screw on the left knife box can be adjusted to solve the relative position between the front and back angles of both sides of the blade and the middle blade line. Once, the division value must be re-measured according to the aforementioned process until the angle hanger is hung on the front and rear ends of the left blade, and the balance position measured by adding a 10 mg standard small weight does not differ by more than 5 divisions. Using the same method, measure the position of the front and back of the right blade relative to the middle blade line. Since the horizontal screw of the right knife box is in a different position from the horizontal screw of the left knife box, the horizontal screw on the side with a higher angle should be loosened and the horizontal screw on the side with a lower angle should be tightened when adjusting, so that the position of the front and rear corners of the right blade relative to the middle blade line meets the requirements. . For balances with ordinary signs, the relative position of the height of the front and back angles of the blades on both sides and the line of the middle blade should not be greater than 2 degrees.
