1. Preparation:
1) Place the centrifuge on a solid table with a distance of 10cm from the wall.
2) Install the rotor, and use a screwdriver to pass through the hole in the nut to tighten the nut.
3) Put the centrifuge tube containing the same amount of test solution into the adapter, then put the adapter into the hanging basket, and finally put the hanging basket into the horizontal rotor.
4) Close the cover door and turn on the power.
Note: In order to ensure the safe operation of the machine, the door of the machine cannot be opened during the operation of the machine, unless the machine is cut off from the power supply.
2. Sequence of operations:
1) Check: The indicator needle of the tachometer should point to the "0" position.
2) Turn on the power switch, the power indicator light is on.
3) Turn the timing knob to the right to set the timing within 0-30 minutes. Turn the timing knob to the left and the machine will run continuously.
4) Adjust the speed knob so that the speed indicator needle points to the required value, and the machine starts to run.
5) When the set time is up, the rotor will stop automatically.
6) After use, the power should be cut off and the instrument should be wiped clean.
Notice:
1. The samples need to be placed symmetrically in equal amounts to ensure the balanced operation of the machine.
2. Do not place sundries on the machine cover door.
3. When abnormal sound is heard, it is necessary to cut off the power of the machine.
4. Do not move the machine while it is running.
5. If the specific gravity of the sample exceeds 1.2 g/cm3, the maximum speed N needs to be calculated according to the following formula:
N=1.2×V÷P
In the formula, V - limit speed (r/min)
P - Specific gravity of the sample (g/cm3).
