Light transmitance/haze meter calibrating method

The light transmittance/haze meter is mainly suitable for the determination of the light transmittance and haze value of transparent packaging films, plexiglass, aviation and automotive glass and other materials. So how to calibrate the light transmittance meter to ensure the accuracy of the measurement? The calibration method of the light transmittance meter is as follows:

Use a set of light and shadow haze standard sheets in a calibration environment where the temperature is (20±5)°C, the relative humidity is <85%RH, and there is no corrosive gas, no strong electromagnetic interference, no strong vibration, and no direct sunlight Next, calibrate the zero drift, indication drift, indication error and measurement repeatability items of the light transmittance/haze meter. Among them, ①The zero drift calibration method is to cover the light path with an opaque blackboard, measure it every 2 rain, and record the zero point value of light transmittance and haze measured each time within 10 minutes, and the maximum value of the reading is The difference from the minimum value is the zero point drift; ②The calibration method of the indication drift is to measure the light transmittance/haze standard sheet every 2 minutes, and record the light transmittance and haze measured each time within 10 minutes The difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the reading is the value drift; ③The calibration method of the value error is to use the light transmittance/haze meter to repeatedly measure each light transmittance haze standard sheet for 10 times, and measure the average value The difference from the standard value is the indication error; ④The calibration method of measurement repeatability is to repeat the measurement 10 times continuously on the standard sheet with the light transmittance of 90% and the haze of about 10%, respectively, and the standard deviation of the 10 measurement values That is, the measurement repeatability of the light transmittance and haze of the haze meter.
