How to maintain the UV spectroscopic luminometer?

During the use of the Spectrophotometer , some changes will inevitably occur in the technical conditions during the operation process. Usually, we adopt the means of "maintenance" to find and eliminate some hidden dangers of accidents.

In order to prolong the service life of the light source, the number of switches should be reduced as much as possible during use, and the light can not be turned off during short working intervals. Do not turn on the light source light that has just been turned off immediately. If the brightness of the light source lamp is obviously weakened or unstable, replace it with a new lamp in time.

The desiccant of the monochromator box should be replaced frequently to prevent the dispersion element from being damp and moldy. When the instrument is out of service, moisture-proof silica gel should be placed in the sample chamber and the plastic instrument cover to prevent moisture from causing mildew and stains on the mirror surface. At the same time, the selected wavelength should be rotated in a balanced manner without excessive force.

Correctly use the absorption cell and protect the optical surface of the absorption cell. Do not touch the optical surface with fingers, hard objects or dirt, only use lens cleaning paper or silk to wipe the optical surface; do not heat or bake the absorption pool on a flame or electric stove. Biological samples, colloids or other substances that are easy to form a film on the cell body should be washed with an appropriate solvent; colored substance contamination can be washed with a mixture of -345·6.'785 and an equal volume of ethanol.

When the voltage fluctuates greatly, a voltage stabilizer with overvoltage protection should be equipped.

When you stop working, you need to cut off the power supply and put on the dust cover. If the instrument is not used for a long time, it should be powered on regularly for 20~30min. Regularly calibrate the Spectrophotometer (including wavelength accuracy, transmittance accuracy, and stability).

In short, the maintenance of the illuminance meter is to adhere to the "three defenses and four determinations" system, so as to achieve "dustproof, moistureproof, vibrationproof" and "scheduled storage, fixed storage, regular maintenance, and regular overhaul".
