The density of the suspension in the dense medium coal preparation process is the key to the separation process, and it is one of the main factors that determine the separation of ore particles in the cyclone. In coal preparation plants, there are two commonly used densitometers, which are isotope densitometers and Cy-type differential pressure densitometers.
