To identify colors, only by applying relevant color theory knowledge and color discrimination capabilities and methods can the true colors of the colors to be prepared be accurately judged. To identify the true colors of paints, you should first find out the names of the paint pigments on the standard Color Chart, and place the standard Color Chart or standard color plate under sunlight of sufficient brightness or under a standard light source box to identify the main color of the paint color, as well as which set of pigments the main color is prepared from, based on the proportional relationship, the order of primary and secondary mixing of pigments, the combination of hue phases, and brightness and purity.
The identification should be based on the hue, name and purity of the primary color, secondary color, polychrome, complementary color and achromatic color. If the identification is wrong, it is difficult to deploy the required standard color.
