Chin white powder is the white pigment used in large amounts in paints. Chin white powder has a high refractive index, is non-toxic, and is chemically inert, and can replace all other white pigments.
Chin white powder can be divided into two types: rutile type and sharp type. Rutile Chin White has the most stable crystal structure, excellent chalking resistance and weather resistance, and the highest hiding power among all white pigments. Ruiqin type Chin white powder is not as good as rutile type in terms of weather resistance, chalk resistance and hiding power, but its whiteness is higher than that of rutile type, and the cost is lower. Ruiqin type Qin white powder is mainly used in indoor environment. The characteristics comparison of two kinds of Chin white powder are shown in Table 2-4.
