The performance of the paint film against the action of gasoline is called gasoline resistance. The method is to immerse half of the painted sample in gasoline at 25±1°C, and the immersion time is determined according to the product standard. After the sample is taken out, dry the oil beads with filter paper for inspection. The surface of the paint film is not allowed to have layering, wrinkling, bubbling, peeling, etc. If it becomes soft, discolored, or loses light, leave it for one hour and observe the recovery degree of the paint film. Cover the soaking line with a white paper strip 1 cm wide. If there is basically no difference between the soaked part and the unsoaked part, it is considered to be recovery. Note that the gasoline tank used for the test should be covered.
